Two years home!!!

It’s so hard to believe that it has been two years since the day we finally met our beautiful daughter! We reflect on those times when we almost gave up on our dream. So many tears and sleepless nights! A long winding road that seemed to have no end. It took us in so many direction, but when we finally reached our destination, the joy awaiting for us was just… so worth the wait!

For those who are currently in their adoption process we pray that they don’t give up. We know it can be such a challenging process but the beautiful miracle after all is said and done is just priceless!

Birthday celebrations!!!

Our girl is four years old and we are so blessed to celebrate with her this special day! We are enjoying every milestone and we look forward to the future as we love, guide, support and encourage this little beauty into reaching her full potential one step at a time. We are honored to be her parents and we thank God each and every day for blessing us with such a wonderful gift!

Our girl wanted to bake cupcakes…so she did!

Sofia the first birthday theme...we had a little celebration at home (just our Lil family) to celebrate such an important day! We are so fortunate to know the exact day our baby girl was born :0)

 

 

 Last year (Gracie’s first birthday celebration with us) we started a tradition. We wrote a message in a balloon in honor of her birth mother. We wrote how much we love her, how happy, healthy and beautiful she is and how honored we are to be her parents. When we released the balloon, we told our girl that the balloon was going all the way to China :o) wherever her birth mother is , we pray that she is well and that somehow she feels peace in her heart knowing that she made the best decision for her baby.

Following weekend she had more celebrations with family… Doc McStuffins and princess celebration… 

Lola’s granddaughters received American dolls for their birthday, 

today was Gracie’s turn to get hers :o)

Can this princess have any more parties?

The answer is yes… and more presents of course :0)
