Early birthday celebration...

The teacher decided to give each child who will celebrate his/her birthday during summer a special day to celebrate their birthday (a little early) in class (so sweet!).

Kindergarten Graduation!!!

I can’t believe our baby girl just graduated Kindergarten. Such an exciting time yet it’s kinda sad… our baby girl is growing so fast :o(

It feels as if just a few days ago we were waiting for the school bus on the first day of school!

Our baby girl has come such a long way. She was so shy but now she rules her classroom (in a good way). She has lots of friends and the teacher had nothing but good things to say about our child (including how she will miss our girl’s sense of humor!) We get to enjoy that side of her every day but she doesn’t show it to anyone else unless she feels comfortable and clearly she felt comfortable enough in her class to let her personality show :o)

She did amazing this year!

Doing her homework (she would do her homework before anything else, even when tired or not feeling well. She would get upset if we suggested she take a break lol

 So proud showing her rewards (and she got a lot of those this year woohoo!)

And Mommy & Daddy got a lot of these :o)

And although she missed a lot of days due to medical problems and family getaways... she got Great Report cards and comments from all of her teachers!

We are so blessed to celebrate each and every milestone with her!

First Dance Recital!

A few days before the recital, our girl was just so anxious… she didn’t eat well, she didn’t sleep well and she would scratch her chin uncontrollably (something she does when she is stressing over something). We tried to calm her down but it was no use. I have never seen or heard of a child being so anxious. The morning of the recital she was just super nervous  :o(

But our girl is a tough cookie, she may be super nervous but when it comes down to it she steps up to the plate and gives her best. Words can’t describe how proud we are of her. She never stops surprising us. We were sure she was going to freeze or just not even show but guess what? She showed up, she remember all the steps and she did awesome!

And then… she fell asleep in my arms :o)

She was the only one from her group at the end of the show and she surprised us by dancing with the girls… she never practiced for the dance but she followed the big girls and she did so good, you would think she practiced for it! We are in awe… this girl is the best!

 

Then we took her to get her favorite for dinner (Applebee’s…nothing like a grilled cheese sandwich after all that stress!)
