Our agency requested that we contact The State Department's
National Visa Center ASAP and request a pdf file of our NVC letter (letter
states that our petition to classify an orphan as an immediate relative has
been approved:0)That way our agency’s main contact person in Guangzhou can walk
in and deliver it by July 5th that way our papers can be IN before
the Embassy closes their doors. Apparently the Embassy is moving and that will
be the last day they will accept documents until they re-open at their new
location on July 24th… Of course we called right away. At first we
were told they do not grant such requests unless extreme emergency cases-
HELLO! we think that’s kind of an emergency don’t you think? Guess they must think we have an emergency as
well because they said yes and
emailed it within a few hours!!! Woohoo! We already wired our baby girl’s visa fee so
now that we got our pdf our agency should be able to email that letter on
Monday ~God willing it should be taken care of by deadline.
