Soooo very tired and we are acting like newborns sleeping all
day and awake all night what the heck??? Are we ever going to shake it off?
Feeling like zombies, Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
On a happier note… Our baby girl is doing great! She is
adjusting nicely praise the Lord! Actually I am the one having my moments… I am
struggling a bit more – not sure if it is due to exhaustion or just having
trouble adjusting to my new life but am confident things
will get better :0)
A little about our girl…
- She’s a little sponge absorbing everything very quickly
- She’s sleeping with us in our bed and she’s a terrible sleeper (talk, slaps, kicks and takes the entire bed but we also get the sweetest hugs and kisses…awww so worth it!
- She is not eating well so we are a little worried about that. She puts lots of food in her mouth but doesn't swallow just chews and chews and chews some more until it is so gross it ends up in the trash. Not sure why she is doing that (as if she was not eating solid food) but I know for a fact that she did… who knows?
- Still drinking Chinese formula- at least until she’s seen by pediatrician then we will take it from there…
- She must have one on one time with us and must be kept busy otherwise, she gets cranky and snarky… I know she was spoiled by her foster family and have the pictures and video to prove it! Lucky now I get to be a stay at home Mommy :0)
- Cutest words: “pleasee” Instead of please, “Gracie right here”, “ Handsees” instead of hands and “milka” for milk… too cute!
- She knows a few baby sign words: All done, more and eat (even though she doesn't need them since she can communicate very well, thank God.
- We have to watch what we say because she repeats EVERYTHING and we are so worried she may say something inappropriate at the wrong time LOL
Now we look forward to a little normalcy. Just can’t wait to get
in some kind of schedule …. Soon! Here are some more pics…
Somebody loves coloring :0)
She loves bubble-baths too!
Sweet kisses for Daddy :0)
Pick-a-boo... I see you!
